Job description

The People Services Coordinator will provide full-spectrum, front-line People Services support and high touch customer service to field operations managers, team members, and stakeholders for questions, issues and problem resolution on supported services related to People Services. The coordinator serves as a partner to the People Services Team, and operational leaders to ensure Suncadia’s People Services processes and systems are fully optimized to support the company’s People Services and operational strategies in the most effective and efficient manner possible. Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes. Maintains confidentiality at all times. 

 

Salary: $22.00/hr - $24.00/hr

  • Be first point of contact for all People Services operational related queries 
  • Ask relevant questions to define the root cause of a problem and generate solutions 
  • Support HR employee life-cycle processes (onboarding, exits, promotions, etc.) through administrative and organizational tasks  
  • Assist department in carrying out various People Services programs and procedures for all company employees 
  • Support Suncadia Talent Acquisition by coordinating/attending job fairs, updating internal job postings, and processing new hire onboarding
  • Assist with Talent Acquisition processes (sourcing, interviewing, Background Check, etc.) as needed and when appropriate 
  • Issue Team Member Name Tags 
  • Oversee team member communication to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Includes updating communication boards, monitors, fliers, emails, YappApp, etc. 
  • Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars 
  • Serve as the Department’s Safety Representative in all company meetings
  • Provide high caliber administrative support to the People Services Team, including analytical support
  • Work closely with the executive assistants to successfully and tactfully manage the calendar and time (proactively manage calendar, schedule meetings, People Services events, anticipate issues and resolve promptly; identify applicable materials/files for meetings)
  • Create a positive environment for all who interact with the office and team 
  • Coordinate all Team Member events and ensures all boards are updated and organized  
  • Maintain employee records within the HRIS (UKG)
  • Daily Filing, organizing, and maintaining the office aesthetics  
  • Provide support to the People Services team as requested
  • Work on department projects as assigned by People Services leadership

  • One to two years of office experience, or any similar combination of education and experience
  • Prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources and experience with an HRIS database preferred
  • Effective oral and written communication skills 
  • Computer competency with Windows, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.); Canva a plus 
  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred 
  • Must be a self-starter and with high attention to details 
  • Strong organizational skills and administrative abilities 
  • Office skills including office procedures and equipment
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with others (team, other departments, the public, team members, etc.)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
