As the People Operations Specialist, your pivotal role revolves around safeguarding our most invaluable assets – our people. Our ideal candidate has:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Proficiency in managing payroll for a company.
- Demonstrated ability to stay focused, work independently with minimal guidance, and effectively handle multiple priorities.
- Prior experience with an HRIS application is essential.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Relevant administrative support skills and experience.
- Strong organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- A profound passion for People Operations, is committed to cultivating a positive workplace atmosphere and prioritizing employee well-being.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting with employee engagement programs, addressing employee concerns, and engaging in daily interactions.
- Collaborating closely with the Director of People to assist in various People Operations tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of initiatives and projects.
- Collaborating with the team on onboarding and offboarding procedures.
- Maintaining accurate and efficient employee records in our HRIS and employee benefits applications.
- Running the semi-monthly payroll process for all U.S.-based employees, ensuring proper updates in the system to reflect various payroll adjustments, including first pays for new hires, final pays for departing employees, approved salary changes, quarterly bonuses/commissions, and alterations in deductions or withholdings.
- Managing benefits administration tasks for US.
- Staying updated on regulatory changes impacting payroll and benefits plans.
- Providing professional and efficient resolution to all employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
