Job Description
Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, the People & Culture Assistant aids with and facilitates the day-to-day functions of the human resource processes. The People & Culture Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the recruitment process, including creating job postings, resume review, maintenance of requisitions, and regular reporting. This position also provides back-up support with new hiring onboarding and other human resources functions.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists with processing of terminations, following all state laws.
- Posts job requisitions, reviews resumes, updates candidate status, and follows up on open position status.
- Back-up for the pre-employment process for all new hires, including, but not limited to reference checks, offer letters, issuance of electronic onboarding, background checks, finalizing hiring, and ensuring completion of all new hire documents.
- Performs customer service functions for all locations by answering team member requests and questions.
- Completes verifications of employment for current and former team members.
- Follows up with team members on unsigned documents within ADP.
- Processes required paperwork for team member transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.
- Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
- Files and/or uploads documents into appropriate team member files.
- Responds in a timely manner to employment verification and records requests.
- Ensures accurate records are maintained in ADP of personnel-related data (payroll, ACA benefit status, leaves of absence, pay rates, etc.).
- Provides assistance to all team members with ADP access and registration process.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- ADP experience preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Hospitality, customer service or related experience preferred.
- Two years of Administrative Assistant experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
