We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide assistance and support to individuals who require help with daily activities. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by promoting independence and ensuring their well-being.
```Responsibilities:```
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up living spaces
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings
- Engage in meaningful conversations and provide emotional support
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Empathy and compassion for individuals requiring care
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Patience and understanding when working with individuals with diverse needs
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of Personal Care techniques and practices
