Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals who require help with daily activities. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help clients with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed
- Engage in meaningful conversations and provide emotional support to clients
- Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Compassionate and patient nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable transportation to travel to client's homes
