SalaryWe are looking for a friendly and motivated individual to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a career in patient care. We provide on-the-job training and prior receptionist or optometric technician experience is not required.
Our Optometry Office is located next to Super Target in Allen and is a small but busy practice. We are looking for a candidate who is customer service oriented, performs well under pressure, and takes pride in their work ethic.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
- Checking patients in and out, and collecting payments
- Performing simple pre-examination testing
- Educating patients on contact lens insertion, removal, care, and replacement
- Authorizing and filing insurance claims
- Restocking contact lenses and maintaining a hygienic work environment
- Working closely with the doctor and optical staff
*MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS*
