Pca Personal Care Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide assistance and support to individuals who require help with daily activities. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by promoting independence and ensuring their well-being.

Duties:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Prepare and serve meals based on dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings
- Monitor and report any changes in client's physical or mental condition
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Empathy and patience when dealing with individuals who may have physical or cognitive limitations
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
