Pca Personal Care Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of Personal Care services. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities and ensuring their overall well-being. This is a paid position with opportunities for career growth and development.

Duties:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with transportation needs
- Engage in meaningful conversation and provide emotional support to clients
- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation of client care activities

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role is preferred but not required
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes or facilities
- Valid driver's license (if applicable)
- Ability to pass a background check
