Position Summary
An individual who joins our team will be trusted resource for many within the company, responsible for consolidating and analyzing pricing feedback and intelligence from a variety of areas within our PBM business, rapidly distributing critical insights and identifying opportunities that will create a meaningful benefit in our client offerings.
As a PBM Market Pricing Intelligence and StrategySr. Manager (IC), you will be responsible for being the intake point for pricing insights from many areas, filtering and identifying the most important intelligence, prioritizing and disseminating the feedback for sales, underwriting and pricing strategy teams and being a key participating in the development of new strategies. You'll be collaborating with and influencing many departments within the company to develop pricing insights. You will independently prioritize and elevate key issues to support client strategy initiatives and present your findings and recommendations to leaders across multiple departments. Your objective is to improve CVS Caremark client financial offerings and elevate our position in competitive bids.

• The candidate will...
  • Gather Pricing Intelligence from the sales and underwriting organization through participation on client level strategy calls and ad-hoc communication
  • Maintain a structured approach to gathering Intelligence and distributing summaries and insights
  • Summarize and create meaningful metrics on client, pricing tactics and success
  • Manage complex projects related to a wide variety of financial, utilization, and operational business needs.
  • Present findings, develop and propose recommendations to leaders across multiple departments

Required Qualifications

• 8 + years' experience in PBM Pricing, PBM analytics, pharmaceutical pricing, or PBM industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in PBM pricing modeling and/or PBM bids
• Previous experience interacting with PBM consulting firms
• Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to various business groups
• Extensive experience in a position requiring problem solving, problem analysis and creative solutions skills.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and follow up skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and manage tight deadlines and competing priorities
• Aptitude to communicate complex analytic findings and conclusions in an easy to understand way

• Bachelor's degree required

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$79,200.00 - $170,800.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
