This position is located in Sanford, FL. There is no relocation offered for this role.
Position Summary:
This position will be primarily focused on the data entry of payroll processing and providing payroll related transactional support to Employees, Management and Executive leadership. This role will ensure accurate processing and recording of company’s payroll, provide timely and accurate financial information and participate in daily data entry of Payroll processing. In addition to the payroll entry responsibilities, the Payroll/HR Assistant will assist the HR department with various tasks weekly.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Process and resolve payroll daily to job costs.
Provide payroll support to all company employees while resolving basic questions related to payroll.
Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports for distribution.
Maintain accurate payroll records for internal balancing and auditing procedures to reduce the possibility of payroll error and company liability.
Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
Provides clerical support to the HR department.
Performs periodic audits of HR reports and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
Any other relevant task assigned.
Position Requirements:
Strong work ethic and team player
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.
Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel.
Experience working within companies of greater than 100 employees.
Must have 2-3 years of payroll experience; a combination of equivalent experience and education will be considered. Construction Industry experience a plus!!
