- Processes payroll within Company assigned frequencies, which includes compiling payroll data such as hours worked, taxes, insurance, and withholding union dues, and preparing and issuing paychecks.
- Processes timely and accurate wage assignments, garnishments, child support orders, and employment verifications.
- Audits all system entries for new hires, status and compensation change and termination submissions with the support of the HR Data Entry team.
- Responds and resolves payroll inquiries in a timely and compliance manner and within prescribed methods.
- Analyzes payroll reports such as Certified Payroll, Job Cost Association, Gross Payroll Registers, Vacation Reports to ensure accurate and timely tracking and accruals.
- Perform additional assignments per management's direction.
- Supports reconciliation of outstanding payroll checks with the corporate Accounting team.
- Maintains knowledge of Company's values and strategic plan.
- Support published corporate policies.
- High School diploma / GED required.
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred.
- 3+ years' experience with in-house payroll processing.
