Payroll Specialist

Title: Payroll Specialist
Location: 100% Remote -
Duration: 4 months plus extensions 
Candidates can be sourced Nationwide but MUST be able and willing to work EST Hours the whole assignment.

• ADP GlobalView is a Mandatory need, candidates will be rejected if experience with this skill set isn't clearly noted on Resumes.

• Manager requires candidates have Associates Degree at least for consideration, candidates without will be rejected.

This position operates in a high pace environment and is responsible for the following:
 
What you'll do:
 

• Prepare, review, and approve semimonthly payrolls for US.
• Prepare off-cycle manual payments as needed with required calculations and system entries.
• Process all special payment requests such as commissions, bonuses, severance, and overtime.
• Analyze processes to drive efficiencies and best practices.
• Resolve problems and respond to inquiries related to payroll earnings, deductions, and tax withholding.
• Coordinate with HR on employee data changes and benefits as recorded in the Workday HR system.
• Review payroll system audits and address issues.
• Prepare and analyze reports for management as requested.
• Partner with the team leads on all project management initiatives.

 
 
What you'll need:
 

• Minimum of 3 years prior payroll experience preferably in a corporate environment
• Associate's Degree Required for consideration - ideally in Accounting or Finance.
• ADP Globalview knowledge is a Mandatroy need for consideration.
• Workday knowledge preferred.
• Ability to multi-task proficiently
• Proven ability to work cross functionally within a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding sensitive personnel data.
• Effective influencing and listening skills.
• Strong initiative and drive
