Payroll Specialist

This position works under the supervision of the Payroll Supervisor. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing all payrolls by the designated time. Complete other special projects as assigned.

Processing bi-weekly payroll for approximately 850 employees and processing semi-monthly payroll for approximately 90 employees.

Requires, at minimum, 4 years of heavy payroll experience, and strong computer skills, including Word and Excel. Previous experience with PROLIANT(ReadyPay Online), NOVAtime(Time&Labor system), and Paylocity (HR & Payroll, Time & Labor) preferred but not required. Applicants must be organized, detail-oriented, have good multitasking skills, and be team-players with excellent planning and problem-solving skills. A work environment with heavy employee interaction.

EDUCATION AND JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma required.
• At a minimum, 4 years of previous experience in Payroll and Bookkeeping.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to meet staffing needs.

Pay: $21.04 - $24.00 per hour
