Payroll Specialist

The Position:

We are looking for an individual with payroll processing experience to join our Human Resources department. We need them to have a strong knowledge of Excel and Adobe, be able to multi-task and keep tight deadlines, have strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain professional confidentiality. The perfect individual is dependable, positive, detailed, self starter, and a quick learner. Work schedule will be Monday – Friday with flexible start times and DOE $24-$28 per hour.

Must Haves:

· A minimum of 2+ years payroll processing experience

· Excellent basic math skills

· Detailed knowledge of Excel and Adobe

· Ability to pass a drug test and willing to complete a background check*

· Ability to hear, read and speak fluent English with legible handwriting

· Communicate well in a team-setting and with customers over the phone

· Past experience with Paylocity, prevailing wage or a piece work/commission system is a plus!
