The Payroll Operations Specialist is responsible for helping R365 customers with Payroll ACH functions. They will collaborate closely with internal teams and third-party partners to ensure all clients receive a delightful experience with R365 Payroll. A successful applicant will have a proven record of great attention to detail and the ability to work simultaneously on multiple tasks and projects. How you'll add value:
- Initiate and process ACH transactions, including payroll direct deposits, vendor payments, bill payments, garnishments and other items in accordance with established procedures and deadlines.
- Stay up to date with ACH rules and regulations, ensuring that all ACH transactions comply with NACHA (National Automated Clearing House Association) guidelines and other applicable regulations.
- Investigate and resolve ACH transaction exceptions, including returns, reversals, and corrections, while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Utilize payroll software to process and manage payroll transactions efficiently.
- Review ACH transactions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with ACH rules before they are submitted for processing.
- Investigate and resolve any payroll discrepancies, payment errors or other issues promptly.
- Assist customers, both internal and external, with ACH-related inquiries, issues, and troubleshooting.
- Generate and review reports, reconciling transactions with bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of ACH transaction data, taking measures to safeguard sensitive financial information.
- Identify opportunities to automate payroll processes and improve efficiency.
- Provide training and support to colleagues and employees on ACH and payroll related matters.
- Maintain documentation of processes, procedures, and standard operating instructions.
- Monitor for potential ACH fraud and take necessary precautions to mitigate risk. Collaborate with the security and fraud prevention teams as needed.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing payroll records and documentation as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you'll need to be successful in this role:
- 3-5+ years of banking, payroll, finance, accounting, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

- This position has a salary range of $30-$35 per hour. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
