FUNDAMENTAL DUTIES:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager the Analyst provides first level support to client employees for payroll, benefits, and system related inquiries including but not limited to direct deposits, missing pay, wage garnishments, benefits, enrollments, and system navigation.
- Some experience running Canadian or other international payroll, preferred
- Assist in processing of payroll cycles, including benefits deductions, for exempt and non-exempt employees in a complex, multi-state and multi-country environment
- Assist in researches and resolves complex employee tax issues to ensure accurate employee tax withholding and quarter/ annual tax filing
- Monitors and communicates changes to federal, state or local tax code to ensure system updates are completed and managers/employees are notified of potential impact to paychecks
- Creates payroll checklist and verifies all steps are completed each pay period
- Assist in ensuring the integrity of HR and payroll data within company systems through proficient use of various reporting tools, data auditing methodology, and advanced knowledge of system and data elements
- Company equipment including an access badge will be provided to aid in completing any assignments and must be returned at the end of employment.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Specific payroll processing experience using a complex HRIS for a multi-state employer; UKG experience, highly preferred
- Excellent problem-solving, detail-orientation, analytical, and organizational skills
- Computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- HRIS experience in UKG Pro and Dimensions system
- Minimum of 2 years of prior payroll administration in a multi-state environment is required
