Payroll Accountant

Payroll Accountant Intro:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This intermediate-level position offers a flexible schedule with a hybrid work model, allowing for both in-office and remote work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our accounting operations and processing payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Payroll Accountant Job Details:
In this role, you will spend approximately 70% of your time providing accounting support and 30% processing payroll. Your responsibilities will include preparing journal entries, managing general ledger postings, and performing account reconciliations. Additionally, you will process biweekly payroll using UKG HRIS, handle payroll adjustments, bonuses, and commissions, and generate necessary payroll reports. You will also address employee payroll inquiries and collaborate with HR and finance teams to maintain precise records.
Payroll Accountant Mandatory Skills:
- BS in Accounting (required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience with General Ledger
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Account Reconciliations
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Journal Entries
- Proficiency in using UKG HRIS for payroll processing
