Job Description: We are searching for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an in-house Legal Counsel. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing all legal matters related to our agency's business, including contract negotiations, compliance issues, intellectual property rights, and employment law. Your efforts will directly contribute to our company’s image and success in the market.

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California.
• Minimum of 5 - 7 years of legal experience, preferably with exposure to advertising, public relations, or media industries.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, intellectual property law, and digital media law.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including client agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership deals.
• Amend existing contracts & advise on contract-related issues as they arise.
• Assist in renegotiation of existing agreements to optimize terms and minimize legal risks.
• Advise on legal aspects of advertising and marketing materials, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Handle intellectual property matters, including trademark registration, copyright protection, and licensing agreements.
• Provide guidance on employment law issues and participate in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
• Manage any legal disputes or litigation, coordinating with external counsel as necessary.
• Stay abreast of relevant legislation, regulatory changes, and industry trends that could impact the agency.
