Payroll Accountant

**Overview**
Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For," is looking for a **Payroll Accountant** to join the corporate team in our **Raleigh, NC** headquarters. The candidate will be involved in a variety of Payroll functions and will work with employees at all levels across the firm.
This is an in-office position.
**Responsibilities**
+ General ledger responsibilities - review general ledger exports prior to posting, reconcile payroll related accounts
+ Assist in processing semi-monthly payroll and post-payroll tasks
+ Assist in processing semi-monthly timesheets and timesheet compliance
+ Manage tracking of various payroll deductions and reimbursements
+ Verifications of Employment
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
+ 2 or more years of relevant experience
+ Experience with the following is preferred: databases and reporting; payroll software; and multi-state tax (UKG Pro preferred)
+ Experience with Microsoft Office, including intermediate skills with Excel
+ Strong interpersonal skills and client service mentality
+ Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization
+ High degree of professionalism with demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality
+ Excellent organization, detail-orientation, and follow-through skills
+ Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with limited daily supervision
+ Ability and willingness to learn new software applications
