How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Processes multi-state payroll accurately and in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and within established timeframes
• Reviewing payroll calculations and associated deductions for accuracy​​​
• Maintains earnings and deductions codes in the payroll syste
• Reconciles payroll to validate accurate processing, deductions, and withholdings
• Collaborates with HR Department regarding accurate processing of pay for employees on leaves of absence
• Processing compensation changes
• Collects needed data on hours worked, gift card redemptions, retro-active payments, and related information needed to process payroll
• Completes associated payroll processes such as W-2 review and approval and annual limit audits
• Creates and generates payroll reports as needed
• Administers involuntary deductions such as garnishments and child support orders
• Processes outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Works collaboratively in a team environment as evidenced by professional and timely communication, treating others positively and resolving conflict in appropriate ways
• ProManages and leads Accounts Payable processing
• Additional responsibilities as assigned
• Predictable, reliable and prompt attendance
• Ability to perform job duties on site in corporate (central) office

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task to consistently and accurately meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business preferred
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred
• 5+ years’ experience payroll experience for a multi-state employer preferred
• Experience with hourly and salaried employees
• Proficiency and proven competency in payroll processing systems, Paycom preferred
• Proficiency in excel
• Knowledge of payroll laws and accounting standards/practices and ability to manage payroll in compliance with the same
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
