We are looking for an energetic and empathic individual who is:
- Highly organized and self directed
- Able to effectively communicate in writing and on the phone
- Able to quickly learn an electronic medical record system, EMR
- Proficient in general computer skills
- Able to read patients' feelings and take care of their needs
- A dedicated team player who gets along with co-workers
- Who is fun, upbeat, and easy to get along with
The following is a partial list of the job functions
- Greet patients
- Answer the phone
- Schedule patients
- Check patients in and out
- Collect co-pays
- Confirm insurance benefits by phone and website
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations
