JOB SUMMARY

Our organization is seeking an experienced, dedicated and personable individual to join our front desk receptionist team. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing and energetic personality, excellent administrative skills and a history of working in a fast-paced office environment. We are looking for a candidate who has excellent interpersonal skills, maintains a pleasant demeanor and is able to prioritize their workload.

The  ER  Patient Registration Support, is responsible for customer service, online PATIENT REGISTRATION assistance, scheduling appointments, and check-in, as well as supporting/covering the front desk. In addition, this position provides front desk coverage for after hours thru 6pm.  This will often require interacting with walk-in visitors, vendor traffic and scheduled appointments with the business offices.

All Registration Support are an integral part of the organization and is the first point of contact for our the location. The incumbent will dress professionally, have great welcoming personality and exceptional customer service skills. Bilingual preferred, not required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will welcome guests and greet visitors entering the corporate location.
• Sit at the front desk in ER coordinating front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.
• Ensure the ER reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms, brochures, etc.)
• Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
• Patient Registration, will have a pleasant personality, as this position is also a customer service role.
• Ability to multi-task and handle many incoming calls or patients at once.
• Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
• Efficient and accurate typing & data-entry skills.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1+ years' experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Clerk, Customer Service, Patient Registration, or Similar Role.
• Work Experience in the Emergency Room, in hospital, acute care setting.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Bilingual PREFERRED
