Position Summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the U.S., is seeking an experienced, inspired and mission-driven Parts Project Manager to join our growing team!

The Parts Project Manager for Amerit Fleet Solutions will be responsible for managing various parts initiatives from conception through full development cycle and deployment. You will be responsible for managing projects of emerging technologies and digital transformation initiatives, especially within a diverse system environment including Peoplesoft ERP, customer facing software systems, and fleet management systems. Will be actively managing a large Peoplesoft ERP improvement initiative as well as several other key digital projects.  Will be responsible for timely completion and quality of work produced by project teams including change management and post-live support. Be the main driver of change, by identifying and delivering process improvement in any area.

Compensation: Competitive Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! Salary Range: $70k-90k with commission

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage multiple concurrent complex Parts Projects including
    • Software, applications, and ERP implementation
    • Dead Inventory Reductions
    • Replenishment Level Reviews and implementation
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop a clear understanding of a business need, define the project goals and charter, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives across primary stakeholders and leadership
  • Apply project management tools/techniques
  • Drive project-related change management
  • Drive process improvement
  • Manage multiple stakeholders, aligning on common goals and communicating risks; run effective meetings
  • Develop and maintain project plans, identify resource needs, and manage project schedule
  • Build relationships of trust across functions and organizations; collaborate effectively across teams to define strategy, goals and commitment to timelines and deliverables
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across teams ensuring effective communication
  • Develop creative and practical solutions based on evaluation of multiple factors
  • Align with other team leaders to support operational activities
  • Analyze areas of inefficiency and recommending improvements to established business processes
  • Foster an environment of excellence
Key Competencies and Minimum Education
  • 5+ years of experience, Project Management Certification.
  • Candidate's experience should be focused on Parts and Inventory project portfolio management, including ERP deployment
  • Experience managing concurrent projects of varying complexity and scale with demonstrated experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams and individual contributors inclusive of senior leaders, stakeholders, developers, engineers, and analysts.
  • Must be self-motivated and multi-task oriented with an aptitude for rapidly assimilating new concepts, practices, methods and skills.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical information, decisions, and approaches to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly adaptable and agile in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment; able to thrive within ambiguity.
  • You have worked closely with field management, purchasing groups, vendors, and IT teams.
  • You are comfortable talking about technical matters with business people and business matters with technical people.
  • Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Exceptional process and analytical capabilities
  • Able to identify and implement process design and re-engineering to achieve both incremental and transformational business impact.
  • Experience working in an Agile manner is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
