The Job Responsibilities


The Associate Project Manager is responsible for the accurate and timely data entry of information into the Draeger Standard Project Management Tool. This includes initiation of all new projects, invoice notifications for completed projects, and entry of required data elements. The Associate Project Manager is also responsible for project planning, coordination, execution, and closure of small-scall Services Projects & Special Services Projects. The consistent application of Draeger Project Management tools and methodologies is essential to fulfilling the core responsibilities of this position.

Utilize Draeger Standard Project Management Tool to initiate new projects & invoice projects upon notification of a completed projects. Creates project, ensuring all required data elements (as defined by Service Leadership) are accurately documented. Upon notification of project completion, updates required data elements and sends out appropriate Invoice Notification to appropriate stakeholders

For small-scale and special service projects, engage in project management activities as defined by the Draeger Project Management standards.

  • Review sales order and confirm scope of project with internal Draeger team
  • Create and deliver required project documentation (Scope of Work, Installation Start of Warranty, etc.)
  • With cooperation of internal and external stakeholders, develop end-to-end Project Plan to align with Scope of Work and Customer expectations
  • Coordinate Draeger resources with customer resources to drive successful completion of solution
  • Monitor and communicate key milestones throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Create and maintain high level of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle

Project Budget Management: Evaluation of Planned Cost vs Actual Cost vs Revenue and ensure any deviations are brought to the attention of IS Leadership

Resource Reporting: Project Resource Management: Ensure resources are aligned on Scope of Work, plan work accordingly, document hours accurately, and execute within the boundaries of the Project Plan

Monitor status and scope: Ensure project plans are kept up to date, are on-schedule, on-budget, and on-quality. Ensure Project Plan aligns with Purchased Solution. Provides updates to management as requested.

Contribute to Draeger project management best practices. Identify improvements in project management techniques, documentation, or processes. Document and communicate best practices to the Draeger Implementation Leadership Team for review and implementation

Build strong business relationships with Draeger Project Managers. Will assist Project Managers to:

Engage the Sales and R&D teams as needed to assist and/or resolve issues with customer

Communicate effectively to Dräger support organizations as an advocate for the customer or other Dräger business units as appropriate

Professionally manage and communicate with third party vendors when contracted as team members on projects


Your Qualifications


Education:

College degree is strongly preferred or previous administrative/data entry, marketing, sales or project management experience required.

Related Experience:

  • Data entry required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of excellent working relationships with internal and external business associates
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, managers, other company personnel and business associates
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence using the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and consistent customer focus

Special Competencies or Certifications:

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) training and/or certification desirable.
