We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Services Representative to join our client for a remote opportunity (must be in central or eastern time zones)! The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our Client Service Managers in delivering top-notch service to our clients in the financial services and benefits industry. The Account Services Representative will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including assisting with client requests, managing transactions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This Contract opportunity offers $17/HR!
Essential Functions:
- Develop a solid understanding of the retirement industry, including regulatory and compliance requirements, IRS/DOL reporting, and ERISA law, to provide informed assistance to clients.
- Handle client inquiries and requests via phone, letters, and emails, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution.
- Generate and deliver reports to clients, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Coordinate transactions with internal departments, tracking progress through completion.
- Prioritize tasks based on urgency, delivering efficient and rapid resolutions to client issues.
- Utilize internal resources, including computer systems, online tools, and client service relationships, to arrive at effective solutions.
- Complete special projects as assigned and assist the team with additional duties as needed.
- Foster internal relationships and communicate effectively with team members.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 1+ years of customer service experience, preferably in the financial services or benefits industry, or experience with defined contributions and benefit plans.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exhibit effective Time Management capabilities.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.
