The Global Operations team at Feedonomics
The Global Operations team at Feedonomics is an incredible group of Feedos who work to ensure our clients have THE best possible experience at Feedonomics. The support side of the team handles both inbound reactive customer support and outbound proactive client success with a focus on quality. As part of our Global Operations team is the Advertising team, which is a client-centric team supporting a fully managed solution that streamlines feed optimization, product listing, and data synchronization for hundreds of paid search, social media, and affiliate channels. Our stellar global operations team and support specialists are available 24/7, enabling Feedonomics to create a full-service feed management experience for advertisers.
The Role
The Project Manager is positioned within our Advertising Operations division reporting directly to the Sr Director of Global Operations. They will be directly responsible for leading all facets of our technical and non-technical operational projects within Global. You will work closely with Global Operations, Product, Sales, and Engineering, to ensure alignment on project scope, milestones, and deadlines. You will coordinate project delivery with internal and external client-side project leads and owners.
The Responsibilities
- Acting as Project Lead on assigned internal and external Technical Projects, managing and leading the project as a liaison between Product, Engineering, and Global Operations (30%)
- Overseeing and guiding all Operations stakeholders in the project (Clients, Advertising Channel leadership, Onboarding, and Support teams) (20%)
- Define project scope, goals, project punch list, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution (10%)
- Estimating resource level of effort across Global Operations, creating resource project plans, and working with Sr Operations Managers, and Enterprise Operations Managers for project implementations (5%)
- Identify and mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans (5%)
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices (5%)
- Design project plans in accordance with client specifications that leverage the Feedonomics (10%)
- Qualify and manage the scope of custom development solutions (5%)
- Create integration project plans and coordinate execution with internal operations and engineering teams (5%)
- Organize and conduct regular internal Knowledge Transfer (5%)
The Requirements
- 2+ years of experience managing projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, developing, and implementing project plans and delivery commitments
- 3+ of integration experience with Shopify, Bigcommerce, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- 3+ years of E-Commerce business-to-business client experience
- Experience with creating exports in txt, XML, CSV, or JSON
- Proficiency in File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) integration, including experience in securely transferring files between systems and platforms, managing file permissions, ensuring data integrity, and troubleshooting any connectivity issues that may arise during the integration process.
- Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight timetables and/or high-pressure situations
- Advanced skills in Excel, HTML, or SQL
- Proficient in working with Custom APIs
- B.S in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- PMP certification is a plus
