Job Summary:
Growing family run plumbing company seeking a detail-oriented and organized Operations Assistant to help grow our team. This position is to provide support and assist with various administrative tasks related to operations and accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Assist with data entry and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks
- Support the operations team with clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Assist in preparing financial reports and presentations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Provide general administrative support to the operations department
- Preparing Estimates & Invoices
- Collections
Qualifications:
- Knowledge/Understanding of mechanics/plumbing highly preferred
- Education in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
