JOB DESCRIPTION
· Implements technological strategy in conjunction with the day to day operations based on the needs, approvals and requirements of Pastor Gordon.
· Help facilitate technological enhancements including but not limited to: the Implementation of a logistical set up of an ongoing process to capture photo ID’s, implement ID card printing in the backroom, integrate systems that will function with our ID system to improve functionality across systems.
· Website/Social Media updates: create and implement on-going strategic images and features to post on our social media out lets that are approved and meet the new marketing standards for SMBC. Manage the back end of our new website and make basic changes and updates to ensure information is current as required.
· Perfect Peace Ministry: Under the Direction and Approval of Pastor Gordon- Develop policies and procedures to enhance the sales strategy of PPM CD’s and DVD’s, investigate the benefits of various outlets including podcasting and ITunes, establish strategies to increase the reach of PPM via Television, Radio, Internet, and all Social Media Outlets. Responsible for ensuring accounts payable each month. Assist with recording videos and commercials that will air on PPM. Create monthly Quantitative reports for Pastor Gordon.
· CDC Programs and Events: Oversee and coordinate the following Community Programs and assist in the planning of community events: Food Pantry, Vita Tax program, Literacy NJ, Gloucester County GED program. Ensure all federal and state requirements are met and provide administrative assistance as needed. Such community event projects can include but are not limited to Job Fair, Mentoring, and Addiction Prevention and Recovery Awareness events.
· Rentals: Properly documenting all approved rentals, overseeing logistics, recording fees, providing monthly statistical reporting.
· SMBC Bookstore: Provides Supervise the operations of the SMBC Bookstore including volunteer recruitment, training, schedules, roles and responsibilities as well as inventory procurement and management, maintaining current policies and procedures, creating and implementing sale strategies and goals.
· Establish standards and procedures to track and measure project's progression ensuring projects are on budget and completed on time.
· Evaluates the current operational systems to make recommendations for system improvements such systems include but are not limited to our communication systems, our congregational management systems, our POS and inventory systems.
· Scouts for and evaluates new technology and tools as opportunities for innovation and development excellence.
· Provides input and expertise to other areas of ministry marketing including social media and new marketing formats as necessary.
· Assists in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· College Degree (Finance Degree Preferred)
· Proficient in Microsoft Professional Suite or Compatible
