Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and responsible Operations Assistant to join our team! This person will be detailed oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task successfully. The Operations Assistant will assist in ensuring that maximum productivity and accuracy is implemented during order fulfillment from all e-commerce platforms, shipping, dealing with customer issues and resolving them.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Must have impeccable attention to detail and be tech savvy.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and e-Commerce channels. (Commerce Hub, Amazon Vendor Central, Wayfair Partner Home)
- Process e-commerce orders using EDI Systems, Troubleshoot EDI transmission errors as required.
- Data entry and inventory control.
- Review and confirm all new orders for processing.
- Verify accuracy of orders and shipping information.
- Prepare and pack orders while adhering to accuracy and compliance practice established by the company.
- Tech knowledge is necessary to work out technical problems with computer/printer, should it be necessary.
- Experience using UPS World Ship, FedEx Ship Manager, Shipstation – but not mandatory
- Process damaged merchandise upon return.
Requirements/Qualifications
- QuickBooks experience a must **
- Local Logistics experience
- Experience processing orders using EDI systems. Prior experience using TrueCommerce Foundry a plus.
- Advanced computer skills / Technical Background
- Highly detailed oriented
