A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A FILE CLERK
- As a File Clerk, you will spend most of your time independently conducting file management and maintenance. You will organize paperwork according to an efficient filing system and digitalize all necessary documents. You will excel at computers and be detail-oriented, protecting and updating files and making them easily accessible to colleagues.
- You will fill in as needed for the Firm Receptionist. As the Firm's first impression in person or on the phone, you will provide excellent customer service to all colleagues and clients.
QUALIFICATIONS TO BE A FILE CLERK/RECEPTIONIST
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of filing systems
- Must have strong computer skills working with Microsoft Office and office equipment such as a photocopier, scanner, etc.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Despite a fast pace and short timeframes, you excel and are efficient and thorough with multiple large volume tasks. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to help improve processes and documentation to minimize errors.
