Physical Requirements
The position requires the ability to lift, push, pull, and bend frequently, often for extended periods. You will need to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally heavier items. The job also involves driving.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Pick-up disposed case files from each courthouse location, heavy lifting is required.
- File all disposition cases at warehouse locations.
- Enter all incoming disposed case files into file room database.
- Clean and organize SAO case files to prepare for scanning.
- Scan all disposition court case files on digital record/storage (scans approximately 600 case files a day).
- Answer phone calls and emails. File, copy, and email documents.
- Retrieve and scan older microfilm cases for sending (when applicable).
- Interacts with the State’s Attorney’s Office Employees and police agencies when needed
- Regular access to confidential information
- Perform other warehouse duties and special delivery projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent organizational skills.
- Must be able to perform physical labor.
- Heavy lifting required. Must be able to lift a minimum 50 pounds,
- A valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word applications.
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
