Part Time Medical Office Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our medical facility. The position is Part Time on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (8 hrs per day). The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task and have knowledge of EHR systems, preferably AthenaHealth. The candidate must be capable of overseeing all aspects of the office (patients, staff, and equipment) to keep the office running smoothly. The Medical Office Manager must possess excellent communication skills with doctors, patients, billing department, and bookkeeper. This candidate will take messages, make appointments, fax, flow records to patient charts, handle emergencies calmly, prepare medical records, invoice and send medical records, and fill in at the front desk as needed. This candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective operations while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
