Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of office staff, including training and development
- Maintain a professional and welcoming front desk environment
- Verify EOB's daily to ensure that all billing was paid correctly
- Answer phone calls and provide excellent phone etiquette
- Verify insurance coverages
- Collection of copays and balances
- Proficient using EMR systems.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for multiple staff members
- Authorizations for patient are when needed
- Work closely with physician’s to maintain patient charts for ACO
- Oversee the organization and maintenance of office files and records
- Ensure efficient operation of office equipment, including phone systems
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in team management and leadership
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in calendar management software and office applications\
- 3-5 years Medical office management required
