Job Description
The Part-Time Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting marketing activities on a part-time basis. Working alongside the Director of Marketing, this position will assist in various marketing initiatives including website coordination, content
creation, social media management, ordering merchandise, and assisting with email marketing. The ideal candidate should be: positive, highly organized, creative, and able to manage their time effectively.
Responsibilities:
Website Coordination: Act as a liaison between the website builders and
employees for website changes and updates. Resize photos as needed.
Content Creation: Design a wide range of marketing materials to support various
marketing initiatives, including brochures, flyers, posters, presentations,
infographics, and digital assets.
Social Media Management: Create engaging and visually appealing content
tailored to each platform, including posts, stories, videos, and other multimedia
formats. Monitor accounts and respond to customer comments and messages.
Report on social media performance metrics and KPIs
Ordering Merchandise: Research online to source high-quality merchandise for
promotional purposes, events, and campaigns. Assisted with selecting and
designing giveaways and branded items for different companies. Maintain
accurate records and documentation related to merchandise inventory.
Email Marketing: Collaborate with the Marketing team to conceptualize, plan, and
execute email campaigns that align with overarching marketing objectives,
product launches, promotions, and events.
Requirements:- Previous experience or internship in marketing or professional environments.
- Proficiency in Google Suites (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Etc.)
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic social media management tools.
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or flexible work environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and practices.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Benchmark).
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho)
