Apparel Consultant

Job Summary:
Grand Prix Motorsports is seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Apparel Consultant to join our team in Littleton, Colorado. This is a full-time, hourly sales position in the auto industry, focused on providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our apparel department. As an individual contributor, the Apparel Consultant will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide them with stylish and functional apparel options that meet their individual preferences and needs. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the powersports industry and has a strong interest in apparel and fashion.
Compensation and Benefits:
The Apparel Consultant role at Grand Prix Motorsports offers a competitive salary between $30,000 to $45,000 per year, paid bi-weekly. In addition, employees are eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, and employee discounts on products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Assist customers in finding the perfect apparel items for their needs and preferences, offering suggestions and knowledge about the products
- Maintain a clean and organized apparel department, ensuring all products are properly displayed and stocked
- Complete sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point of sale system
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in the apparel industry, and use this knowledge to make recommendations to customers and improve sales
- Collaborate with the rest of the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals, contributing to the overall success of the dealership
- Attend product trainings and meetings to stay informed about new merchandise and promotions
- Uphold a professional and positive image of Grand Prix Motorsports at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or some post-secondary education preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous sales experience, preferably in the auto industry or apparel/fashion industry
- Strong customer service skills and outgoing personality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for the powersports industry and knowledge of latest trends in the apparel industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and multitask effectively
- Availability to work weekends and some holidays as needed
