Summary Develops community resources to benefit Helping Hands and the people that it serves. Supervises volunteer workers and provides direction, coordination, and consultation for all volunteer functions within the organization to help strengthen public or private programs and to involve a community of supporters by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develops, promotes, and maintains a wide range of volunteer opportunities within organization.
Recruits, interviews, and places applicants for volunteer work and conducts or coordinates their training.
Reviews written reports and observes work activities of volunteers to evaluate performance.
Informs volunteers of policies, procedures, and standards of volunteer service.
Develops and oversees program budget, newsletter, and volunteer benefits.
Develop community relationships in order to broaden the agency’s network of referral agencies and volunteers
Strengthen current relationships in order to support current partnerships while looking for new ways in which to partner.
Confers with volunteers to resolve grievances and promote cooperation and interest.
Organizes and participates in volunteer recognition programs.
Maintains accurate records and provides timely statistical and activity reports on volunteer participation.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must possess a valid driver's license

Pay: $35,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
