Part Time Front Office Specialist
Part-time opening at a busy podiatry office specializing in biomechanics and musculoskeletal lower extremity conditions in King of Prussia Pa. This Position is Part-time 3 days a week Monday, Weds and Friday with the occasional Thursday hours.

Must be available to work these days/hours Monday 11:30pm-7:00pm, Weds 7:30am-3:00pm Thursday 7:30am-2:00pm, Friday 7:30am-3:00pm No weekends or holidays needed.
The role of the Front Office Specialist serves as the face of our organization and requires exceptional energy, interpersonal skills, and enthusiasm. Your primary responsibility will ensure the smooth flow of patients during office hours and help manage the day to day operations of the practice.
Responsibilities:
- Greet all patients and office guests
- Check-in and check-out all scheduled patients
- Enter and verifying patient demographics and insurance information
- Educate patient about insurance coverage, in network vs. out of network benefits
- Ensure that necessary paperwork is complete and on file (i.e. Insurance forms, insurance referrals, authorizations and/or waivers, specialist packets/forms)
- Ensure proper registration and billing documents are reviewed and signed off on by the patient/responsible party
- Obtain or create electronic medical record number; enter into PM system
- Address patient balances at time of service, set up payment plans when appropriate
- Collect and enter patient payments
- Schedule appointments
- Notate cancelled or rescheduled appointments •
- Follow Patient No Show/Cancellation Policy
- Review and update eligibility
- Print and verify day end review •
- Submit daily payment collection reports •
- Balance daily receipts against TOS report •
- Accept and review patient disability forms and/or medical records requests for completion/accuracy, notifying patient of processing time
- Release records to patients once requests have been fulfilled •
- Enter charges and payments for medical records requests filled directly by our office • Accept labs from outside facilities, date stamp and forward to clinical staff
- Sign for all incoming deliveries (i.e. Fed Ex, USPS, Air Borne Express...)
- Open and close office prior to and following business hours
- Assist patients and/or family members with any requests
- Maintain a professional work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with patients, physicians, co-workers and administration
- assisting with accounts receivables, insurances, billing
Must have friendly welcoming personality, common sense, motivation, must be able to multitask as well as be comfortable with computers .
Dress is scrubs attire.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare administration education or certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in a Front Desk or patient care coordination role is preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine enthusiasm for patient care.
- Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in using office software, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, especially data entry.
- Knowledge of healthcare insurance and medical terminology is advantageous.
- A contagious energy and positive attitude in patient interactions.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.30 per hour
