- Greets and assists patrons as they enter the golf shop
- Receives and issues receipts for customer registrations for programs and facilities
- Caters to the patrons' needs at the point of sale
- Answers telephone calls or provides information in person regarding the programs available at the facility
- Schedules and cancels tee time reservations
- Assists with the selling of merchandise and inventory control
- Performs daily custodial duties as assigned including vacuuming, dusting, mopping and disinfecting of pro shop and restrooms
- Tries to resolve questions or refers customers to supervisor or other facilities and/or parks for information
- Works with customer to resolve problems or registration questions
- Receives and processes reservation requests
- Performs clerical work such as word processing, data input and filing as assigned by Pro Shop Manager
- Answers telephone calls to the facility and provides general information
- May oversee work of other support personnel to ensure that the Customer Service provided is at the highest level possible and that all schedules and data are correct
- Other duties may be assigned.
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma. Experience in pro shop operations involving Customer Service preferred. Previous merchandising experience preferred. Valid Florida Driver's License and maintenance of clean driving record.
