Assistant Bookkeeper

Job Description:

• Oversee client disbursement processes.
• Process client transactions via ACH.
• Check and ensure compliance with trust accounting regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in the accounting field, preferably law firm and banking.
• Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar accounting software) and Microsoft Excel.
• Must be comfortable learning new software.
• Knowledge of PCLaw or Cosmolex is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
• Multitasker with strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy; a self-starter, who works well under pressure.
• Reliable, dependable, problem-solver; self-imposed deadlines, self-motivator; and must be highly organized.
• Must be team player.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.67 - $22.48 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
