Minimum two years demonstrable law firm experience required. Will consider a candidate for a different starting position with less experience, however there must be some recent law firm experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as contracts.
- Contacting clients and performing client intake.
- Handling clients’ calls & emails.
- Organize and maintain client/file database.
- Manage document management systems and databases.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed.
Skills:
- Quick to learn new technology and legal software.
- Excellent attention to detail for proofreading and reviewing legal documents.
- Proficient in using document management systems and other legal software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.
- Willing to learn new areas of law.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

This position requires a high level of professionalism, phone etiquette, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Minimum 1-2 years of paralegal experience or paralegal certification completed or in progress. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidential information and acceptable standards of office and professional conduct.
