Duties:
- Transcribe legal documents, correspondence, and memos accurately and efficiently
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files
- Perform data entry tasks to update and manage case information
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff
- Assist with contract preparation and review
- Answer phone calls and handle inquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
- Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, faxing, and mailing documents
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with document management systems to ensure proper organization and accessibility of files
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in data entry and administrative tasks
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail for proofreading documents
- Familiarity with document management systems is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
-Must be fluent in English and Mandarin, other Chinese dialogues (Cantonese, Fuzhounese) are plus
-Prior experience in immigration law is plus but not required
