Self-Motivated, diligent, multi-tasking legal assistant sought for position with busy landlord tenant case load. You will provide a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of an attorney and paralegal and will work closely with the office’s property management team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Monitor deadlines and maintain calendars
- Provide administrative support to attorney and property management department
- Handle communication with tenants
- Prepare legal notices
- Coordinate service of process
- File court papers
- Answer and direct phone calls
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as legal assistant or legal secretary
- Familiarity with legal procedures, protocols, and court system
- Experience with landlord tenant law a plus, but not a requirement
- Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office
- Computer literacy
- Proficiency in English – Spanish speaking a plus
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
Compensation commensurate with experience and position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.29 - $26.84 per hour
