This position is for a SPECIALIST PARALEGAL ... as such this paralegal will apply expert Real Estate knowledge of law and legal procedures to provide elite assistance to lawyers.
- Perform work in an efficient and cost-effective manner so as to permit the Firm to reasonably collect fees for such work; meet expectations of BILLABLE HOURS TARGET OF 1.725.
- Uner the supervision of an attorney, coordinate, organize, prepare and interpret highlycomplex legal documents; build and maintin relevant databases and filed; file and provide copies to relevant parties.
- Perform factual research ininternal and external databases and libraries.
- Assist with legal business transactions and logistics.
- Partner and coordinate with internal resources and outside vendor services; direct work and train team members.
- Word overtime as equired; travel as required; and
- Handle additional related projects as assigned.
PROFICIENCIES:
- Extensive experience reviewing title and survey.
- Experience handling REAL ESTATE ppurchase and sale agreements, real estat closings and some REAL ESTATE finance work.
- Experience performing UCC searches and due diligence document review; in addition to corporate searches and work.
Advanced to Expert proficiency in MS Outlook and web-based conference call/web-sharing applications; MS Word and document editing/comparison applications; MS xcel and spreadsheet/database applications; MS PowerPoint and presentation applications; on-line research and internet search resources (Lexis Nexis/Westlaw) and knwoledge of firm and Real Estate practice-area-specific procedures and terminology.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 10 years of Paralegal experience (required).
- At least 7 years of relevant Real Estate experience; and
- ABA-aproved Paralegal Certificate; Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree (preferred).

The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $103,000 and a maximum of $150,000.00 annually. The actual pay may be based on experience or other relevant aactors.
