Legal Assistant/Paralegal

PAY AND BENEFITS: The position pays a competitive base salary that is commensurate with experience depending on years of FAMILY LAW experience, paid time off, eligibility for health insurance benefits and 401(k).

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: This position is for a legal assistant who has a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in FAMILY LAW.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Family Law Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our team.
The Legal Assistant/Paralegal will provide support to our attorneys and assist with various legal tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong research and administrative skills, as well as a solid understanding of legal procedures and terminology.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information
- Assist in drafting legal documents, such as contracts and pleadings
- File and organize legal documents using document management systems
- Prepare and maintain case files, both physical and electronic
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and court hearings
- Assist in reviewing, filing, and service of legal documents
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the legal process
- Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and managing correspondence

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in FAMILY LAW
- Proven experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or similar role
- Knowledge of legal procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in using document management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Bilingual- Armenian/Spanish (Preferred)
