Legal Assistant / Legal Admin / Paralegal
Paralegal and Legal Assistant (Litigation) (Hybrid WFH)
Up to $74,000 to start plus full benefits
3 in office and 2 WFH days per week
As Paralegal and Legal Assistant, you will:
- Join a national labor and employment law firm
- Provide direct support to 3 Attorneys
- Create routine and special correspondence
- Perform document review, document control and document processing activities
- Maintain and update case files
- Prepare TOCs (Table of Contents) and TOAs (Tables of Authorities)
- Conduct conflict of interest checks
- Make federal and state e-filings
- Track billable hours
- Collaborate with the Billing Specialist
- Serve as a resource for clients
- Handle special projects
- Provide additional support as requested
An ideal candidate profile will include:
- Paralegal and/or Legal Assistant experience
- Litigation (Defense) experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Pluses:
- +++ iManage / FileSite experience
- +++ Aderant Legal Billing Software experience
- +++ An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree and/or Certification(s) in Paralegal Studies or similar
