Compensation: $ 350,000 - $370,000

Overview: Nexus HR is looking for a Pain Management MD in the Sacramento, California area. The ideal Pain Management MD will promote and maintain patient health by providing medical services that address chronic and acute pain.

Promotes and maintains patient health by providing medical services that address chronic and acute pain.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Outpatient consultations and follow up evaluations of patients with chronic pain
• Coordination of Care with other healthcare providers, including surgeons, chiropractors, psychologists, and other specialists
• Pharmacologic management of chronic pain and related conditions
• Interventional Pain Management procedures and injections under imaging guidance (fluoroscopy and ultrasound)
• Mentoring and providing clinical supervision to mid-level providers
• Building relationships with community physicians and health care providers
• Developing new patient referrals and community awareness of the services offered at the practice.

Qualifications:

• At least 1-3 years experience in Pain Management or related specialties
• Fresh graduates, and fellows are welcome to apply
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• MD or DO degree
• Must have a fluoroscopy supervisor license valid in California.
• Licensed to practice in California with no restrictions
• Active DEA license all schedules
• Proficiency in ultrasound-guided interventional strategies
• Familiarity with current Pain Management literature
• Experience with Buprenorphine-containing medication assisted treatment for opioid dependence
• Active participation in continued medical education and membership to a professional organization is highly preferred
• Experience with EHR/EMR is highly preferredAble to work in Sacramento, CA
