The Overnight Pet Care Specialist is extremely important to our mission of providing superior Pet Care and serves as the foundation for creating a safe, fun environment for our furry guests. Everything starts with the love and attention you show our four-legged clients daily, giving our pet parents peace of mind while their pooch is with us. The Overnight Pet Care Specialist’s essential requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor guests overnight
- Observe body language cues to interpret behavior from dogs in the playgroups
- Report any concerning health conditions or behavioral changes on a daily basis
- Perform dog walking routinely using proper methods as instructed by staff
- Perform cleaning duties to maintain a clean and sanitary play environment
Qualifications:
- Must love dogs and have a desire to learn about animal behavior
- Good communication skills
- Friendly, positive outlook
- Work effectively with other team members
- Prefer 1 year of behavioral experience with dogs in a daycare or similar setting but willing to train the right person
