Natural Food Store Kitchen Position

Sage Mountain Natural Foods is looking to grow our amazing Kitchen team. We are hiring for one position starting at $18.00/hour.

Sage Mountain is a place to gather around food, meet friends, and share knowledge. At Sage Mountain, all of our products are crafted with ingredients from sustainable, ethical sources. We source close to home whenever possible and create a wide array of dishes and baked goods.

All of our baked goods are gluten free and vegan, and several of our soups, sandwiches, wraps, and salads are gluten free and/or vegan. All of the Kitchen items are served grab-and-go style from our bakery display or fridge. You will interact with customers on a neighborly level, but you will be preparing fresh food based off of a production sheet rather than live customer orders.

With opportunity for growth and ongoing training, your role in the kitchen will contribute to our vibrant community while expanding on your previous experiences.

Applicants must have direct experience working in a kitchen or food-service role. Prior experience does not have to be in a vegan or gluten-free kitchen, although this trait would be welcome in an applicant. Applicants with all kinds of eating preferences and needs are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must be able to lift 20-40lbs and work short periods in the walk-in fridge and freezer.
