Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person or department
- Schedule appointments
- Check-in patients, verify insurance information, and collect necessary paperwork
- Update patient records with accurate and current information
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Orthodontic or dental office experience is necessary - Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (Dolphin Management, Dentrix) is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
