Compensation Break-up as per 40 Hours/Week:

Pay Rate: $52/hr.

Housing and Meal Stipend: $1440 (TAX-FREE)

W2 Pay: $640 (TAXABLE)

Total Pay: $2080/Week (Excluding Taxes)

Job Description:

· Provide care to patients as directed by the provider, including preparing patients for examination, administering medications, assisting provider with procedures and performing various tests.

· The Medical Assistant or LPN will actively participate as a member of the healthcare team to engage patients, families, and caregivers in the coordination of patient care.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Knowledge of medical practice and patient care, medical equipment and instruments and examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures.

· Knowledge of physician office procedures and medical terminology.

· Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines.

· Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions.

· Ability to assist in performing a variety of treatments and procedures, taking vital signs and recording and maintaining test results.

· Ability to record data accurately using a computer.

· Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

Requirements:

· High School diploma or equivalent Required.

· Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.

· 2+ Year of Experience Required.

Certification Requirement:

· BLS (AHA)

State License Requirement:

· Connecticut
